The Sette Terre (Seven Lands) are an area of the island of Elba known since the past for the incredible diversity of surrounding land. Located between Procchio and Marina di Campo, about 1.5 km from the sea, it is here that we breed our prized Chardonnay planted in 1997 with spurred cordon.
The must is already fermented in small French oak barriques, and so it slowly becomes wine. Only after eight months of batonnage on the lees is it finally extracted from the barrels and bottled.
Total production is only 800 bottles.
